Bowl Kebab (Tas Kebabı)

Onion2 medium size150 gr
Boneles lamb shoulder or shank- -750 gr
Tomato paste2 tablespoon20 gr
Water (warm)1 1/2 cup300 gr
Salt2 teaspoon12 gr
Black Pepper1/4 teaspoon0.5 gr
Potato6 medium size650 gr


Cut meat into 2 cm (3/4 inch) cubes. Combine with chopped onions. Cover and saute over low heat for 40 minutes stirring occasionally, add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper; stir. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until meat is tender. Pare and cut potatoes into 1 1/2 cm (2/3 inch) cubes. Add to meat; mixing gently. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot
