Stuffed Summer Squash With Ground Meat (Etli Kabak Dolması)

Summer squash6 large size1250 gr
Salt2 teaspoon12 gr
Rice2/5 cup75 gr
Onion2 medium size120 gr
Parsley 1/2 bunch30 gr
Dill1/2 bunch20 gr
Tomatoe2 small size200 gr
Ground Meat (medium fat)1 3/4 cup300 gr
Black Pepper1/2 teaspoon1 gr
Mint2 tablespoon2.6 gr
Water1 1/4 cup250 gr
Margarine1 tablespoon10 gr


Instructions : Remove stem and blossom ends of squash. Cut into half crosswise. Scoop out pulp forming 3-4 mm thick shels. Set aside. Combine ground meat, rice, 1 minced tomato, chopped onions, parsley and dill, mint, salt and pepper. Add 1/4 cup of water mixing thoroughly. Fill squash shells with fılling. Cut remaining tomato into 6 slices. Press 1 slice of tomato over fılling, covering completely. Arrange in a shallow saucepan side by side. Heat remaining water. Add to dolmas. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until squash and rice are tender. Remove from heat. Serve hot.
