Quince Desert (Ayva Tatlısı)

Water1 cup200 gr
Quince3 medium size750 gr
Sugar1 1/4 cup225 gr
Whipping cream8 tablespoon80 gr
Pistachionuts (chopped)3 tablespoon30 gr


Cut quinces into half. Pare and core. Place quince halves into boiling water. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 7-8 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with sugar. Stir slowly until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat. Arrange in a baking dish. Bake in a low moderate oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove and cool. Arrange on a serving plate cored sides up. Fill centers with whipped cream. Sprinkle with crushed pistachionuts. Chill and serve.
