Quince Desert (Ayva Tatlısı)
| Ingredients | Measure | Amount |
| Water | 1 cup | 200 gr |
| Quince | 3 medium size | 750 gr |
| Sugar | 1 1/4 cup | 225 gr |
| Whipping cream | 8 tablespoon | 80 gr |
| Pistachionuts (chopped) | 3 tablespoon | 30 gr |
Preparation
Cut quinces into
half. Pare and core. Place quince halves into boiling water. Cover and bring
to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 7-8 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with
sugar. Stir slowly until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5-6 minutes. Remove
from heat. Arrange in a baking dish. Bake in a low moderate oven for 15-20 minutes.
Remove and cool. Arrange on a serving plate cored sides up. Fill centers with
whipped cream. Sprinkle with crushed pistachionuts. Chill and serve.
