Pears Dessert With Whipped Cream (Armut Tatlısı)

Water1/2 cup100 gr
Pear6 medium size750 gr
Sugar1/2 cup90 gr
Whipping cream8 tablespoon80 gr
Pistachionuts (chopped)3 tablespoon30 gr


Pare pears leaving stems on. Cut into half lengthwise, and core. Place pear halyes in a pan. Add water and sugar. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cook gently over low heat for 30 minutes or until tender. Remove pears from pan; drain. Arrange on a serving plate cored sides up. Boil syrup gently for 5 minutes or until thickened. Pour over pears; cool. Fill centers with whipped cream. Sprinkle with crushed pistachionuts. Chill and serve.
