Gelatin with Whipped Cream - Court Style (Kaymaklı
|Gelatin||16 leaves||40 gr|
|Egg whites||2 piece||60 gr|
|Sugar||1 1/3 cup||240 gr|
|Lemon juice||1 teaspoon||5 gr|
|Water||5 cup||1 kg|
|Sugar dye (red)||1 tablespoon||10 gr|
|Whipping cream||2/3 cup||125 gr|
in cold water for 2 hours: drain. Place into a saucepan. Add egg whites, sugar,
lemon juice and 4 cups of water. Heat over low heat for 30 minutes without
stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Strain and divide into 2 parts. Add food
coloring into 1 part and stir well; cool. Pour into 6 individual bowls or cups.
Chill until set. Pour uncolored part over colored part and chill for 4 hours.
Unmold. Top with whipped cream before serving.
