Nafiz Paşa 5:
A Holy Koran written in 1230/1814-15 by the calligrapher Mahmud Raci.The first two pages are gilded and ornamented.The headings of suras, the medallions on the edges of some pages and the conclusion page are also gilded. The rules and stops of the verses are in gold.
The measures are 160x70 mm. 106x64 mm. 331 pages, 15 lines.The binding is head-banded (şirazeli) covered with green satin and paper. It has leather book-flap (miklep).
There is seal: Nafiz Paşa Vakfı (Nafiz Paşa Foundation).It is a complete and excellent kind of manuscript.It has also a conservation box.This box is not lost and still in the Library.
Nafiz Paşa 9:
A Holy Koran written in 1263/1846-47 Each of the last two pages are illuminated with a flower and a vase.The calligrapher’s name is written on vases.
The first two pages are completely gilded and ornamented.The medallions on the edges of some pages, the headings of suras, the conclusion page, the heading of the conclusion prayer and the conclusion are also ornamented.The rules on all pages and the stops of the verses are in gold.
The calligrapher’s name is Hafız Hasan Rıfat, Cafer-zade-The measures are 163x113 mm. ,103x61 mm. 302 pages. 15 lines.The binding is dark-red (brownish) head-banded (şirazeli) leather with borders in gold.It has also a book-flap (Miklep).
There is seal: Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi Vakfı (The Foundation of Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi). A complete and excellent kind of manuscript.
Nafiz Paşa 22:
A Holy Koran written in 1254/1838-39 by the calligrapher Derviş Mustafa el-Mevlevi.The first two pages are completely gilded and ornamented.Headings, rules, stops of the suras and the medallions on the edges of some pages are also gilded.There are ornamentations between the lines.
The measures are184x115 mm. , 124x71 mm. 304 pages, 15 lines.Head-banded (şirazeli) binding with bookflap (miklep).Covered in gold borders and ornamentations.
There is seal: Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi Vakfı (The Foundation of Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi).It is a complete manuscript.
Nafiz Paşa 27:
A Holy Koran, the calligrapher is Bari-zade İsmail.The first two pages are completely gilded and ornamented.The headings of suras, the medallions on the edges of some pages, stops of the verses and rules are also ornamented.
The measures are 167x101 mm. , 105x58 mm. 413 pages, 13 lines.The leather cover with “Salbekli şemse” , “Şemse” is the sun-like round or oval motif in the center of the cover, “salbeks are smaller ovals atteched to the “Şemse” from upper and bottom sides.There are “döğme”s, small rounds near the borders of the cover.
