HATİBOĞLU, M. Tahir

Researcher and writer (b. 1 January 1946, Tavas / Denizli). He attended Nikfer Village Primary School and graduated from Denizli High School and Ankara University, Veterinary Faculty. He completed his postgraduate education at the Diyarbakır Faculty of Medicine. He worked as an academician at Dicle University, Faculty of Medicine (1969- 78), Gazi University, Faculty of Dentistry (1979- 82) and Faculty of Medicine (1982-).

He was dismissed from university in 1983 under article 1402 of the constitution. He worked as a professor of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology at Gazi University, Faculty of Medicine. His articles have been published in the newspaper Cumhuriyet and in the reviews Abece and Öğretmen Dünyası. He served at the Office of the Prime Ministry as a member of the High Counsel Committee of Human Rights (1993-95). He is a member of the Professional Association of Scientific and Literary Work Owners of Türkiye, the Writers Syndicate of Türkiye and he is Chairman of the Academicians Association.
