ATLANSOY, Hüseyin

Poet (b. 1962, Mihalıççık / Eskişehir). He attended primary and high school in Eskişehir. Later, he studied in Boğaziçi University, the Faculty of Basic Sciences for some time and graduated from İstanbul University, the Faculty of Literature, Department of Sociology.

His poems were published in Yedi İklim, Yönelişler, İkindi Yazıları, Şiir Atı, Kayıtlar, İpek Dili, Albatros, Dergâh, Bürde and Hece reviews after 1982. In 1990, Atlansoy was elected the poet of the year by the Writers Union of Türkiye with his poem Şehir Konuşmaları (Urban Conversations).
