13 April 1909The events of 31 March occurred (the difference in dates is due to the difference between the Gregorian and the Hegira calendar used in Türkiye until 1925).
15-16 April 1909After the events of 31 March, Mustafa Kemal departed from Salonika to Istanbul as the chief of staff of the Strike Army assigned to suppress the outbreak.
6 September 1909Mustafa Kemal was appointed Commander of Infantry Officer Training of the 3 Army in Salonika. Later on he became the Commander of 38 Infantry Regiment with the rank of Adjutant Major.
10 May 1909Mustafa Kemal participated in the Albanian maneouvers as Minister of War and Mahmut Şevket Pasha’s chief of staff.
